Alley Electric

4/4/2014 Referred by a client:

We had called the "Absolute Electric" company you mentioned, which had really great reviews on Yelp.  However, Dave (who is the electrician for that company) said he was busy on a project that would last several weeks.  He recommended another company that he trusts called "Alley Electric" (the electrician there is named "Wesley").  Alley Electric also has very strong Yelp reviews.

Today, Wesley came out to our house and fixed the problem in less than an hour.  It turns out the root cause was just a loose connection behind one of the outlets.  So that actually saved us a lot of money, because the previous contractor wanted to do a more brute-force solution by running a new wire behind the walls.

So, we had a great experience with Alley Electric.  In case any of your clients ever ask for electrician referrals, you may want to also mention Alley Electric :-)

Mei Mei's on 6/7/2013: I heard this place from a buyer who bought one of my listings before with positive reviews. Yelp review was all positive too.  I haven't known any clients who have used it yet, so if you do have any experience of working with this vendor,  thank you in advance for letting me know.

Roofer - CD Roofing - Charlie

I was given Charlie's info in 2012 by another real estate agent. My client chose to hire him after comparing prices with several other roofing companies as his estimate seemed to be significantly lower than the rest. I checked with the client on the his feedback on Charlie's work and was told that price-wise, he was very satisfied; and service-wise, it doesn't seem to be as professional as the other roofing company as sometimes calls were not returned on time and the installation appointment was put off a a few times.

Here is the info:

I also found the following about CD Roofing from Yelp: http://www.yelp.com/biz/cd-roofing-san-jose

Charlie's price seems to be very competitive. But you might need to lower your expectation on service if you are to hire him.

You can mention my name when you call him to get a free estimate.

Window Cleaner

I've used 3D Window Cleaner since 2009 and has always been impressed with their good quality of work.  Windows are like eyes to a house - when the windows are clean and clear, the house shines!

This is a family-run business.  When you call, most likely it will be Edgar's wife Teresa who picks up the call.  She is the scheduler for Edgar.  You can let her know that you are a client of Mei Mei.

If you do choose to hire 3D Window Cleaning, I'd appreciate you provide your feedback to their service, so that I can know if I shall continue recommending them to my future clients and friends.
